TDG
The Transportation of Dangerous Goods course (TDG) is now on-line!
This eClass course replaces TDG101, 201 and 202. All personnel who ship dangerous goods off campus must be certified. This course covers the following topics:
- TDG Regulatory Agencies and Requirements
- Dangerous Goods Classes and Divisions
- Packaging and Labelling
- Dangerous Goods Documentation
- Emergency Response
- Shipping by Road
- Biohazardous Material
- Dry Ice
Individuals will have three weeks to complete the course after they have received confirmation of enrolment and login instructions.
After completing the course, the material will remain available to all participants to use as a reference when shipping dangerous goods.
The on-line course is available at no charge to University of Alberta staff and students.
We are asking that all individuals who wish to re-certify also take the on-line course. Upon successful completion of the course, certification is valid for 2 years.
TDG 102 - Radioactive Materials
The e-learning course does not currently contain information regarding radioactive material. If you require this training, please contact EHS to obtain a schedule for this training.
